"Great Plants for Tulsa Gardens"

Spring is here, time for garden planting! Not sure what plants would do well in you garden? Linnaeus Teaching Garden Lecture series has the answers for you. Join Barry Fugatt, Tulsa Garden Center Director of Horticulture and Buddy Lee, America’s top Azalea and Rhododendron expert, for a series of four evening classes on “Great Plants for Tulsa Gardens,” on April 20, 22, 27, and 29 from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm at Tulsa Garden Center, 2435 S. Peoria Ave.
Participants will gain in-depth knowledge of the various trees, shrubs and ground covers for Tulsa area gardens, along with the proper techniques for installing and maintaining those plants.
Buddy Lee’s lecture “The Wonderful World of Azaleas” will provide an in depth look at the selection and care of all types of azaleas for this area. Buddy holds the plant patents on the fabulous, new “repeat” blooming Encore Azaleas and he is the man behind the exciting “Southern Living Plant Collection” of shrubs and perennials being released at garden centers across America this spring.
